BidScout is operated by Standard Method Group, LLC, a Florida limited liability company based in Pinellas County, FL.

What we collect

• Email address — provided at checkout. Used to send your weekly digest and account-related emails.
• Set-aside certifications — selected on the preferences page. Used to personalize your digest's "For You" section.
• Stripe billing data — payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.

What we do not collect

• We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
• We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.
• We do not track your behavior on our website beyond basic Cloudflare analytics (anonymous, no personal data).

How we use your data

Your email and certifications are used solely to generate and deliver your weekly BidScout digest. We do not send marketing emails beyond a welcome email at signup.

Data sources

Opportunity data in BidScout comes from publicly available federal sources:

• SAM.gov — federal contract opportunities (public API)
• USAspending.gov — historical award and incumbent data (public API)

AI-generated summaries and classifications are produced by our systems and should not be treated as legal or procurement advice.

Data retention

Your account data is retained while your subscription is active. If you cancel, we delete your email and preferences within 30 days. Digest delivery logs are retained for operational purposes.

Your rights

You can update your certifications at any time via the preferences page. To request data deletion or export, email support@getbidscout.com.
